  • Community consultation provides people with an opportunity to share their views, concerns, and ideas about decisions or projects that affect their community. For participants, it’s a chance to:

    1. Have Your Say: Contribute your knowledge and experiences to influence outcomes that directly or indirectly impact you or your community.

    2. Be Heard: Share concerns or suggestions in a process designed to respect and value diverse opinions.

    3. Shape Decisions: Provide input that organisations and decision-makers use to guide their plans, ensuring they align with community needs and priorities.

    4. Stay Informed: Learn about upcoming projects, policies, or changes and understand how they may impact your local area.

    5. Build Connections: Engage with others in your community, fostering collaboration and collective action.

    6. Make a Difference: Help create outcomes that better reflect the shared values and aspirations of your community.

    When you participate, you’re contributing to more informed, inclusive, and effective decisions that lead to better outcomes for everyone involved.

  • This is a state-wide consultation, where you can provide input from anywhere in Tasmania. We have both online and in-person opportunities for contribution, including self-paced online submission and survey options, alongside facilitated sessions both online and in-person.

  • The purpose of this consultation process, is to inform the development of Tasmania’s Workplace Mental Health Framework by WorkSafe Tasmania, Department of Justice in partnership with Community, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Department of Health.
